 Varsity Coaching Staff:
 

Head Baseball Coach:  Sean Bieterman                        

Coach Bieterman begins his seventh season as the Head Baseball Coach at Driscoll Catholic.  In his previous six seasons, Coach Bieterman has amassed a career record of 142-61.   In 2006 Driscoll finished with a record of 36-4 and advanced downstate for a third place finish.  The 2006 team led the Chicago-land area in wins that season.  Under Coach Bieterman's leadership the Highlanders have won the Suburban Catholic championship twice (2004, 2006).  Between 2006-2007 the Highlanders had a 21 game conference winning streak.  Coach Bieterman is an active member of the Illinois Baseball Coaches Association.  He is also the creator of the Illinois 2A Baseball Coaches Website.   Coach Bieterman is also the annual tournament director of the Prep Baseball Report Small School Classic.   Coach Bieterman has taught in the Social Studies Department for the last seven years teaching a wide range of subjects such as American History, Geography, Psychology, Politics, and Dynamics of Society.  Coach Bieterman and his wife Maggie reside in Villa Park with their son Casey.

 
Assistant Varsity Baseball Coach:  Marco Eufrasio

Coach Eufrasio is entering his third year on the baseball coaching staff at Driscoll Catholic.  Prior to this year, he served two years as the head sophomore coach before being named the varsity hitting and outfield coach for the 2009 season.  Coach Eufrasio played baseball at the collegiate level for St Joseph's College (Rensellaer, IN) and Elmhurst College (Elmhurst, IL) where he was an outfielder and designated hitter.  He currently teaches Spanish at Driscoll Catholic and is a member of the freshman football coaching staff.  Coach Eufrasio is an avid White Sox fan, and in his spare time he enjoys reading, playing golf, and learning as much as he can about the game of baseball.  He currently resides in Villa Park, IL.

 
Assistant Varsity Baseball Coach:  Dave Clot 

This is Coach Clot's fourth year as a varsity assistant in the Driscoll Baseball Program.  Dave Clot was an all-area pitcher in 1991 for Rolling Meadows High School in the Mid-Suburban League and participated in the East-West Illinois All-Star game featuring future major leaguers Cliff Floyd and Lou Collier.  His post-high school career included stops at the American Legion and semi-pro level.  He has coached previously at University High School in Normal, Illinois and has provided private pitching lessons at Grand Slam U.S.A. and the Bulls/Sox Academy in Lisle. Coach Clot and his wife Katie reside in Lombard.

 
Sophomore Coaching Staff:

 
Sophomore Coach: Ryan Molek 

Coach Molek is entering his second year on the coaching staff.  He will take over as the head sophomore coach this season after serving as Coach Eufrasio’s assistant last season.  Prior to coaching at Driscoll Molek was an assistant at Glenbard West and, most recently, an assistant at North Park University.  He played collegiately at Illinois College in Jacksonville, Illinois.  Coach Molek serves as a teacher at Driscoll in the Social Studies, English, and Religion departments.  Molek also served as an assistant Freshman basketball coach at Driscoll.  His father, Rod Molek, was the head coach at Driscoll from 1980 until 1992.

 

Freshmen Coaching Staff: 

 
Head Freshmen Coach:  Steve Erzig 

This is Steve's fourth year as a Driscoll Catholic baseball coach. He spent his first two seasons as an assistant sophomore coach and now is entering his second season as head freshman baseball coach. Steve is a 2001 graduate of Driscoll Catholic high and is currently in his second year of teaching history and speech at Driscoll. Steve is also the son of Bill Erzig, who has been a football coach at Driscoll for 15 years.
